Voting Rights
The LICC have taken up the issue of overseas voting rights again. Chair Tim Clapham and Secretary Jeremy Millard with Steve Oates of the ILO and an LI member of the Geneva branch have recently had exploratory meetings with the Electoral Commission and the Electoral Reform Society.
Obviously any comments / suggestions from members which might be helpful in giving impetus to this campaign would be greatly appreciated. The use of the guestbook in the Members' Area of our website would facilitate the publication of any such views and help the LICC develop a coordinated and effective campaign.
