Four of us here in the Charente have recently formed the

CHARENTE LABOUR PARTY.

We have made ourselves known to the local expat  residents and we meet periodically to plan activities . During the general  election we encouraged others of like mind to use their vote. We are  pressing those who have not used their vote in the recent past to do so.
We have contacted our MPs on this matter of the right to vote and on the  issue of a free vote on the  smoking ban. We hope to increase our  membership and to be more active - we shall keep you posted.
